It was then, that the couple went ahead to announce their reception Party in Delhi, which attracted more rage among their admirers.
From personally inviting Mr. Modi, to the eco-friendly invitation that went out to all near and dear ones from the sports industry and Bollywood fraternity, the reception was another Gala event thrown by the newlywed couple. Apart from the lavish decoration and luxurious party, the couple themselves looked extremely stunning in the Sabyasachi outfits that they chose to wear.
Both wonderfully paired the outfits with each other, all over again. Though, they were not exactly color coordinating, yet the reds were there along with the spark and twinkle in their eyes!
Anushka Sharma’s bridal look at the reception
Anushka Sharma looked resplendent in the traditional red Benarsari Saree to represent a marital status as per the Indian culture perfectly. She paired it up stunningly with Sabyasachi Jewellery. Flowers on her hair, a red bindi, and her sindoor completed the look perfectly.
Her jewellery was every woman’s dream – it was a diamond choker and it was complimented with long jhumkas. This was rare diamonds that were uncut and a special piece from none other than Sabyasachi’s collection. She chose to opt for the deep down Indian culture textile for her Saree, and Oh my! She carried it with utmost poise and elegance.
Virat Kohli pulled it off with his traditional look
Virat has always been known for the style he carries with him – be it a casual press meeting before the match or his own wedding, he has always caught all attention not only of his female fans but men take note of his dressing style. On such an important day of his life, his wedding reception, he carefully chose to be royal. To get that look, he donned a black Bandhgala with a white churidar that just looked spectacular on him. The Bandhgala was made of pure textured silk by our very famous Sabyasachi. The buttons were quite special too – it has 18K gold adorned on it. He paired this ravishing outfit with mojris and a Pashmina shawl that was hand embroidered. It came from the collection of the designer – Kashmir Revival project.
